At what age will a child begin enjoying a wooden play kitchen?

What type of finish is used on your wooden play kitchens?

David's kitchens and refrigerator (Robin's Kitchen, Pat's Kitchen, Casey's Kitchen, and Kelly's Refrigerator) are finished with a natural oil that will produce a beautiful satin sheen. The finish is a pure, highly refined polymerized linseed oil that is free of petroleum solvents and metallic driers, which makes the finish longer lasting. This finish is food safe, non-hazardous, and fume free (zero VOC).
Joe's kitchens and refrigerators (Ivy's Kitchen, Liam's Kitchen, Dakota's Kitchen, Sandy's Kitchen, Willow's Ice Box, and Devin's Ice Box) are finished with a natural, vegetable base oil. You can choose to have the finish unscented or scented with lavender essential oil.
I would like to paint my kitchen myself. What would you recommend?

How will I know the status of my order?
After you place your order, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order and contact information. Thereafter, you may check the status of your order by going to our website WoodenToyKitchens.com and clicking on Track Your Order (in the far upper right corner). You will be asked to enter your Order Number, which can be found on your printed receipt or in the confirmation email you will receive after you place your order. Once you have entered your Order Number you will be able to view the status of your order. A status of “complete” means your order has been shipped.
Returns and Exchanges
Joe's Policy (applies to Ivy's Kitchen, Liam's Kitchen, Dakota's Kitchen, Sandy's Kitchen, Willow's Ice Box, and Devin's Ice Box): All returns and exchanges must be shipped directly to the craftsman and arrive without damage. Customer pays return shipping. Errors or defects will be corrected at no cost.
David's Policy (applies to Robin's Kitchen, Pat's Kitchen, Casey's Kitchen, and Kelly's Refrigerator): All sales are final. Only products with hidden damage or missing parts, etc. may be returned upon notification to and authorization from the craftsman. All returns and exchanges must be shipped directly to the craftsman.
Little Colorado Policy (applies to Little Colorado Kitchen and Little Colorado Refrigerator): Returned products must be properly packaged in original shipping cartons, shipped prepaid directly to the craftsman, and arrive without damage.
Buy with confidence. Our kitchen manufacturers have been in business since 1987 (Little Colorado), 1988 (David) and 1999 (Joe). All three craftsmen have an extremely loyal customer following based on their reputations for top quality products and customer relations.
All accessories come with a 30 day guarantee. You must receive a return authorization from Wooden Toy Kitchens prior to returning or exchanging any item. Accessories will need to be in the original packaging. Refunds do not include return postage.
Merchandise Damaged in Transit
Please notify us immediately if your kitchen or accessories arrive damaged. We will work with you to see that your claim is resolved satisfactorily with the carrier and the craftsman. It is the policy of both our kitchen craftsmen to exchange or replace damaged components whenever possible and not to exchange or replace entire products. Little Colorado requires any claim to be initiated within seven days of receipt of merchandise.
Warranty
Joe (who makes Ivy's Kitchen, Liam's Kitchen, Dakota's Kitchen, Sandy's Kitchen, Willow's Ice Box, and Devin's Ice Box) provides a lifetime guarantee.
David (who makes Robin's Kitchen, Pat's Kitchen, Casey's Kitchen, and Kelly's Refrigerator) warrants his products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from the shipment date unless otherwise noted. He will replace any item returned to him within the parameters of this policy and found to be defective. He reserves the right to send replacement parts for any damage deemed easy to repair. All returned warranty-issue merchandise must be properly packed for a safe return shipment and in original purchase condition with the original packaging, the original receipt/invoice/packing slip, and an explanation of the item’s problem. This warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect, alteration, shipping damage or damaged packaging. The craftsman will make a reasonable attempt to ameliorate any problems that occur after the warranty period.
All Little Colorado products (Little Colorado Kitchen and Little Colorado Refrigerator) are covered by guarantees against defects in material and labor. Pine and MDF products are warrantied for one year from date of purchase. Warranty applies if there is no misuse or abuse and is limited to replacement of parts or replacement of the product. Shipping costs are not covered.
Neither Wooden Toy Kitchens (Ladybug Online Stores) nor the craftsman is liable for misuse of its products.
