The Little Colorado Kitchen includes a sink, stovetop, one shelf above, and one cabinet below. The right hand cabinet can also be a pretend oven. It is a classic design, rich with play possibilities. Complete your set with the Little Colorado Refrigerator.
Available Colors and Finishes
The Little Colorado Kitchen is available in the following colors. All finishes and paints are acrylic and water based. The Little Colorado Kitchen is very popular with handpainters because of the wide selection of water based colors and finishes. You can even order the Little Colorado Kitchen primed or unfinished and paint it or finish it yourself.
- Natural wood (clear lacquer finish) with white melamine back and stovetop. See photo.
- White (painted wood).
- Powder blue (painted wood).
- Pastel yellow (painted wood).
- Soft pink (painted wood).
- Pastel green (painted wood).
- Lavender (painted wood).
- Doors can match the rest of the kitchen or be different colors. Knob colors will be coordinated with the door colors. See two examples by clicking on the small photos just below the large photo of the kitchen with a natural finish. The first photo shows white with pastel yellow and powder blue doors. The second photo shows white with soft pink and pastel green doors.

Sink
The sink faucet swivels. Two knobs turn imaginary water on and off. A removable metal bowl creates the sink basin. Children may pretend to wash dishes, fruits or vegetables in the sink or pour water into a kettle to prepare tea. They might remove the sink basin and use it as a bowl to carry or serve their special foods.
Stovetop and Knobs
The stovetop has four burners. Five knobs turn to control the pretend heat on each burner and the oven. The stovetop inspires children to cook with all kinds of imaginary ingredients, stirring, pouring, seasoning, making oatmeal, or boiling water for tea.
One Upper Shelf
The shelf above the sink and stovetop can display tea pots, tea cups, decorations, boxes or bottles of imaginary special ingredients, fruits, vegetables, or anything else children dream up.
One Lower Cabinet
The cabinet doors swing open and closed on sturdy hinges. Store pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, aprons, potholders, pretend food, and so much more. Doors with hinges are always a favorite, and this cupboard invites children to take things out, put things away, sort, and organize. It can also be a pretend oven.

All Little Colorado Kitchens are constructed the old fashioned way using screws, dowels, and glue. All finishes are top quality, non-toxic, environmentally friendly acrylic water base coatings that are the very best available for children’s products. Ventilation and finger pinch protection are built in. Great care has gone into assuring that this is a safe toy for children.
