This lovely tin tea set is perfect for younger children because it is not breakable. Many children want to serve tea parties before they are able to take care of a breakable porcelain tea set. This pretty tin tea set is just right for them. The set includes a teapot and lid, four cups, four saucers/small plates, four plates, and a serving tray. Made in China.
The Children’s Tin Tea Set is also a favorite because of its expanded play possibilities. The saucers are decorated so that they can also be small plates and make a nice table setting alongside the bigger plates. In a child’s hands, the tray becomes a pretend cookie sheet or muffin tin for the oven (it fits just right in our ovens!). This set offers even more than a standard tea set.
The Wire Dish Rack holds this tea set nicely with room to spare. The plates go in the larger slots, the saucers fit in the smaller slots, and the teapot and cups go in the same spots shown in the photo. (See photo, and note that the Children’s Tin Tea Set is smaller than the tea set shown in the photo.) Children like having a special place to put things. They enjoy fitting each piece of the tea set into its place in the Wire Dish Rack, a little bit like a puzzle. Use the Wire Dish Rack to store your tea set neatly in the cupboard (it fits sideways in our lower cupboards).
